Merck, known as MSD outside of the United States and Canada, announced that the call for nominations for the second year of the Kenneth C. Frazier Award for Maternal Health Equity is now open. The award is in recognition of the legacy and commitment to maternal health by Kenneth C. Frazier, the company’s executive chairman of the board and former chief executive officer. This year, Merck for Mothers will be bestowing a new organization with this grant in recognition of the organization’s commitment to and progress toward more equitable, high-quality maternal health care.
We are making great progress towards supporting our mission globally, however, there are still many communities around the world that continue to be disproportionately affected and more work is needed across sectors to tackle this issue. Therefore, it is crucial that we acknowledge the organizations that are continuously advancing our company’s legacy of catalyzing sustainable solutions that improve health equity and maternal health outcomes worldwide.
Apply or nominate an organization today by visiting the link here. Nominations will be accepted through June 30th.
