At Africare’s Bishop John T. Walker Memorial Dinner Gala on Dec. 5, Merck for Mothers was jointly awarded the Program Implementation Partner Award in recognition of our efforts to create a network of maternal waiting homes in multiple Zambia districts and provinces to reduce maternal and infant mortality. Jeffrey A. May, vice president, Global Public Policy at Merck and Scott Higgins, director of Operations, Merck for Mothers accepted the award on behalf of the Merck for Mothers team.
